OF_VF.11
Acting with the environment OF_VF.11 takes form as part of the existing fence and surrounding landscape. Yet the objects simple form and inquisitivity that the hinge provides creates an experience and questioning of the objects function and reason(s) to be.

OF_VF.10
Seen by many. Placed in a frequent thoroughfare, this object interrupts ones state of automation by directly challenging ones immediate path/space through obstruction. As a shifted object, it reminds one of their previous experience had with the object.

OF_VF.9
Puncturing the walls of our everyday urban surroundings. Rather than the physical experience usually gained through the objects, a more aesthetic experience occurs. The simple non-form objects extend from the wall shaping the existing landscape acting as an unfamiliar growth from a familiar space.

OF_VF.8
A re-engagement with the everyday space. This site specific work was formed to transform the perception of a familiar space. Not only acting as a reminder of nature in the urban landscape but also as a moment of insight and thought arising from the daily practice of what the situationists call the derive.

OF_VF.7
The removal of the barrier between art and life. As a continuation to the interaction environment, this object not only acts as a reminder to what was but but also re-establishes the gateway to an altered state of consciousness. It aids in the process for one to realise the relationship between ones self and surrounding space. The object provokes physical and mental interaction, providing a sense of awareness to those who choose interaction.

OF_VF.5
Widening the environment of the interaction landscape, adding a constant to the breaking/ realisation of ones state in automation. These objects add space in the immediate place by extending from the objects surrounding using the same theme of aesthetic and non-form purpose.

OF_VF.4
Acts as a responsive experience. One can choose to interact with the doorway-like object or not. This choice gives a physical insight into ones introspective conscious nature. This object was placed in a busy walkway used by many students and and businessmen, so there is an interesting contrast of awareness in the space. The material used is a recycled plastic that has been pulled from a skip-bin, making a humorous remark with people unknowingly walking through rubbish (that has been cleaned) only because it has been placed in a different context.

OF_VF.3
Furthers ones experience of interaction between object and self through reflection. The blank canvas-like object is attached by hinge, through interaction of object one is faced with with the question "what just happened?". This question generates a self-reflection on ones own state of thought.

OF_VF.2
The obstructive nature of this object was to investigate into ones automative state. Through a physical interaction with the object, a clear insight into ones state in automation is achieved. The simple hinge attaching the object to the wall gives the choice of engagement. Whilst the striking purposeless of the object causes a sense of Kapoors 'non-form'. This lets the object act as a relational experience that transcends beyond its objectness.

OF_VF.1
Experience with the object. OF_VF.1 is an object with no meaning or reason, its only serves the purpose (to those who become aware of it) to attempt to explore into how aware one is of their own environment and familiar space. With no sign of attachment it almost looks as if this unfamiliar object is supposed to be apart of the landscape.
